in my mind....

...i like the office

...people really do buy the things i think will never sell

...i don't get a lot of people

...according to dear friend, latte's without flavor taste like nothing but warm milk, which is funny because she doesn't like warm milk...oh now i get it, she didn't really like it - and for those of you in p-town, donuts have half the calories of muffins (for future reference)

...why is it i couldn't wait to hear my kids call me mom and now there are days i can't wait to not hear "MOM!!!!!"

...i love my hubby

...said hubby painted our kitchen and dining room this week

...i like my new kitchen

...there is too much sadness and tragedy in this world

...my dog likes to be stinky

...my kiddos crack me up sometimes

...mapboy needs a new name, not a real one, just in bloggy world - which ironically, last weekend we caught up cousins natalie and jeff and we laughed when although we new all about each others kids we couldn't recall their real names, only blog world names!

...i love my hubby, but i may have mentioned that already

...i feel incredible blessed these days

...and i'm so ready for the office season premiere!!!

the "calling"

okay - so it's been awhile since i've ranted...and it's time! it is beautiful outside and i'm sitting inside my makeshift office at the church. i am lucky enough to have a door that opens to the outside so it is wide open and i'm loving that. but as i'm working here today i feel the need to rant so enjoy.... being in my position i often have to ask people to help out. you know, volunteer to teach or work in the nursery or teach or hang out with the kids, you know - volunteer! i love all the responses i get. i am particularly fond of the "i don't like kids one" - it doesn't go over real well with me when they have 3 of their own. hmm??? but the one that really gets my goat is the "i don't feel called to that." argh...really!?!?!!?!? well, i didn't feel called to wipe my kids bottoms either, but it is a good thing i did it anyways. surprisingly, everyone feels called to the waterpark though! now, let me back up a ...
